Area Voice Panels (AVP's) and pre-surgery meetings
If you have a problem on your estate, are interested in being consulted on MHT London's services and policies, or would like to meet other MHT residents, why not come along to your next Area Voice Panel meeting?
What's an Area Voice Panel?
Area Voice Panels are area-based meetings open to all residents in a particular area and were set up so residents could get involved or raise issues about their area or estate - without having to set up and run a formal residents’ association. They are held every three months, usually in the evening, and all residents in the area are welcome to come along.
I cant come, I've got kids.Just bring a receipt from the person looking after your children (not a family or household member) and we'll refund the cost. The same applies if youre a carer for an elderly or disabled person. We'll pay your transport costs too.
Who comes from MHT London?
Housing management staff and a Surveyor.
Do things get followed up?
Progress on the action points you raise are monitored by the MHT London executive team, as well as at the following Area Voice Panel meeting.
My issues are about my property, rather than things on my estate.
Before each meeting, we hold a surgery where you have the opportunity to discuss any individual matters one to one with a member of staff.
I don't understand English very well.
We can usually arrange an interpreter if you let us know in advance. We can also arrange a signer if you are deaf and make suitable arrangements if you have a disability.
How can I find out more?
